Key Areas

In addition to a wide range of topics, we seek papers that explore the following areas.

Education in Data Analytics

Educational developments, new courses and programs of study that focus on preparing students for careers in the rapidly growing fields of data analytics in business, social science and scientific research.

Innovation in Online Learning

The development of tools, systems and models to support online learning with a particular emphasis in exploring and evaluating new and persistent of models including collaborative/cooperative, project/scenario-based, experiential-based, game-based, school-as-a-service, MOOCs, fully online, blended/hybrid, and flipped.

Education in Cyber Security

Contributions from researchers, practitioners, policy makers and educators on all theoretical and practical aspects of information security, assurance and privacy. Papers describing application of new technologies, tools, techniques, and lessons learned are particularly encouraged.

Innovation in Pedagogy

Theory, practice, and other pedagogical topics that focus on the design, development, and delivery of information to our students. Of particular concern are methods to determine what content is to be taught, how best to deliver the content, and how to assess/determine whether or not our students have learned the content.

Model IS Curriculum

Reviewing, proposing, evaluating and reporting implementations or experiences managing curricula that support undergraduate and graduate degree programs or concentrations in information systems and computing including interdisciplinary programs and integration with allied disciplines.
